Pricing FAQ

How does the free trial work?

The 14-day free trial is for AI Receptionist plans. You sign up, walk through our 5-minute onboarding wizard, and you're live with a real phone number taking calls within ~30 minutes. No credit card required, up to 25 calls included. We'll prompt you to add payment before day 14. Bilingual Humans tier staffs real agents from call one, so it bills on signup.

What happens when my trial ends if I don't add a card?

Your account moves to paused — your number stays reserved, your scripts and call history stay safe, but new calls go to a 'leave a message' state instead of routing live. Add a card anytime to reactivate exactly where you left off. We keep paused accounts for at least 30 days.

Will my phone number stay the same after the trial?

Yes. The number you're assigned during the trial is yours to keep when you add payment. If you cancel, we hold it for 30 days in case you come back; after that, it returns to the carrier pool.

What if I use up my 25 trial calls before day 14?

The AI keeps answering and takes messages so your business never goes dark, but new calls won't be routed to a live agent until you add payment. You can upgrade mid-trial anytime — your remaining trial days are converted to credit on your first invoice.

Can I extend my trial if I need more time?

Email support@swiftlee.com before your trial ends and we'll usually extend by 7 days for legitimate reasons (mid-evaluation, waiting on approval, etc.). One extension per account.

How long does setup actually take?

From signup to a working number in your hand: about 30 minutes. The onboarding wizard collects your business basics, hours, escalation contacts, FAQs, and call scripts — then we auto-provision your Telnyx number and AI assistant. Test it by calling yourself from your cell phone immediately after.

What if I sign up and decide it's not for me?

Cancel from your portal anytime — no contract, no cancellation fees. Your card is never charged during the trial. After you've upgraded, we offer a tailored save offer if you start the cancel flow (50% off 3 months, free pause, or data export — your pick).

Is my call data secure? HIPAA compliant?

Calls are encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). HIPAA-eligible operations (medical, dental, behavioral health) can enable HIPAA Mode — we'll sign a BAA, strip PHI from email/SMS notifications, route everything through the secure portal, and apply HIPAA-grade access logging. What counts as a call?

Any inbound call we answer counts as one call, regardless of length. Calls under 15 seconds (wrong number, hang-up) don't count.

What's the difference between human and AI tiers?

Human tiers route to bilingual receptionists. AI tiers route to a natural-sounding AI agent (great for high call volume at a lower per-call cost). Hybrid uses AI for routine calls and escalates complex ones to a human.

Can I switch between human and AI?

Yes. Switch routing modes from your portal anytime — the change applies on the next inbound call. Same number, same script, same portal.

How does after-hours coverage work?

Human plans cover your business hours with live bilingual agents. Outside those hours you choose how calls are handled: voicemail (included), an AI receptionist (+$39/mo), or real 24/7 live human answering (+$149/mo). AI plans answer around the clock automatically — there's no after-hours gap to cover.

What happens if I go over my plan?

Calls keep getting answered. You're billed for the overage at the rate shown on your plan. You can also upgrade tiers any time — we prorate.

Are there setup or onboarding fees?

No. All standard onboarding is included. Optional white-glove onboarding is $299 if you want our team to configure everything for you.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, anytime, from your portal. Monthly plans only. No long-term contract.
